  2. This is a shareware version of the Trancendence BBS program...  All files
  3. needed to run a fully functional BBS are included in this archive.  However
  4. these files are VERY bare bones...  Many additional support files are
  5. available to add many additional features.

  7. As of now the documentation for Trancendence BBS is being written, so for
  8. now no real docs are available.  However, all in all, the basic system is
  9. very easy to set up...

  11. The Author has asked me to inform you that this shareware setup may not
  12. work on color monitors without modifying the desktop colors, it does work
  13. fine on mono, and fine on color after changing the pallete...  There have
  14. been two updates to the program since this version of the demo was released
  15. in July - 92.  A newer demo that shows off more of the systems features is
  16. in the works, however, no demo can truly show off a BBS simply because a
  17. BBS is whatever the sysop makes it.  Trancendence allows you to make it
  18. whatever you want!!!

  20. If you are having trouble getting this to work, and have access to internet,
  21. you can mail write mail to me (oracle@iastate.edu) and I will try to help
  22. you as much as possible.  I have modified my copy of the BBS so that you
  23. can telnet to it, but I don't have that available all the time.
